Surely there’s no better time to go on a Netflix binge than the festive season—the nights are longer, the weather is colder, and the temptation to snuggle up in bed all day watching Netflix on your laptop is too strong to resist. To fuel your Netflix addiction this Christmas, here are some of the most highly-anticipated new Netflix releases in December 2019…

A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby

The third installment of A Christmas Prince is almost here! Return to Aldovia to continue the story of Amber and Richard’s Christmas romance. An ancient curse threatens the family—will they be able to restore the peace?

Release date: 5th December

Marriage Story

Academy Award nominated filmmaker Noah Baumbach directs this comedy-drama about a family going through a divorce, starring Scarlett Johansson and Adam Driver. The film premiered at the Venice Film Festival, receiving critical acclaim for its screenplay and acting.

Release date: 6th December

Jack Whitehall: Christmas With My Father

The comedy duo of Jack Whitehall and his father, Michael Whitehall, returns this December for a Christmas special. Michael and Jack take to the stage at London’s West End with a range of celebrity guests. 

Release date: 12th December

6 Underground

Ryan Reynolds stars in this action film about six untraceable agents who’ve buried their pasts in order to change the future. Michael Bay directs this new film, so get ready for lots of action-packed scenes and dramatic explosions.

The Witcher

Now that Game of Thrones has finished, Netflix is hoping to secure the next big fantasy epic with The Witcher, starring Henry Cavill. Based on a best-selling fantasy book series, The Witcher has also been adapted into a successful video game series.

You: Season 2

The popular psychological thriller is set to return to Netflix for a second season this Christmas. Fans have been eagerly awaiting season 2 after the first season ended on a cliffhanger, and now they don’t have much longer to wait before Boxing Day arrives!
