Hot 97 Summer Jam
New York’s radio station, Hot 97’s Summer Jam returns to deliver one of the city’s biggest hip-hop festivals. This year they’ll be showcasing the talents of some of the genres biggest and best, including Cardi B, Meet Mill, Migos, Tory Lanez, A Boogie, Rich the Kid, Funk Flex, Davido, Casanova and so any more. There will also be a few surprise performers to keep an eye out for on the day, which may or may not include some other huge hip-hop chart-toppers.

Ultra Korea
The Ultra Music Festival circuit has a huge international presence, but for eight years now it has always found a loyal home in Korea. This year’s Ultra Korea has a killer headliner act, one that you definitely wouldn’t be expecting after their split a few years ago. Get ready ’cause the Swedish House Mafia are reuniting at Ultra Korea! So if you didn’t get to see them before the split, here’s your second chance. Additionally, Skrillex, Martin Garrix and Jamie Jones are just a few of the acts that will be joining them.

Bonnaroo
The word ‘Bonnaroo’ is Creole slang for ‘good stuff’ and there sure is a lot of that at this impressive 10-stage festival. This year you can catch shows from Grand Ole Opry (Thursday), Phish (Friday & Sunday), Childish Gambino (Friday) Solange (Friday), Post Malone (Saturday) Odesza (Saturday), The Lumineers (Sunday) and Cardi B (Sunday). Firefly Music Festival
Firefly festival transports you to a magical world inside a woodland setting of surrealism and endless possibilities. Headliners this year are Panic! At The Disco (Friday), Travis Scott (Saturday) and Post Malone (Sunday). Accompanying them are some of the biggest and freshest names in music at the moment, including Tyler the Creator, Kygo, Vampire Weekend, Zedd, Death Cab for Cutie and DJ Snake. The festival also hosts acoustic sets on the Treehouse Sessions stage for a more chilled out, relaxed atmosphere.

Mawazine
18 years and going strong, Rabat’s biggest festival will be back again with a full week of A-class entertainment. On average, 2.5 million spectators come to Rabat for Mawazine. An added bonus of the festival is that many of the performances are free! The shows are spread across nine days, on six different stages with performances from the likes of Black Eyed Peas, Future, Dadju and OrelSan, J Balvin, David Guetta and Marshmello.

Summerfest (week 1)
Summerfest is one of the biggest festivals in the world and has been around for over 50 years now. There will be over 800 acts and over 1,000 performances across 12 stages during the two weeks. To kick off 2019 Summerfest there will be performances from Bon Iver with special guests Lord Huron & Julien Baker, Jason Aldean with special guest Kane Brown and Thomas Rhett with special guest, Dustin Lynch.

Summerfest (week 2)
The second week of Summerfest will continue the party with more huge international stars performing at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater. Week two includes shows from Lionel Richie, Jennifer Lopez, The Killers, Billie Eilish and Lil Wayne. Festival d’été De Québec
250 shows, 10 venues and 11 days of music is what it takes to make the Festival d’été de Québec, one of Canada’s biggest music festivals. Every year, an impressive one million festival-goers attend. Today, this non-profit event is a major cultural enterprise. The headliners for 2019 are Alt-J, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Twenty One Pilots, Slipknot, Kygo / Diplo, Mariah Carey, Imagine Dragons and Blink-182. Reggae Sumfest is the place to be for all reggae fans with its successful track record dating back to 1993. This is the home of the genre and there truly is no better place in the world than Jamaica to experience reggae artists at the top of their game. Pitchfork Music Festival
Pitchfork festival brings together 60,000 people from 26 countries and this year they intend to keep their international reputation as one of the most welcoming, comfortable and fair-priced festivals alive and well! On Saturday you can catch performances from The Isley Brothers, Belle & Sebastian and Stereolab; and finally on Sunday to wrap things up, Robyn, Charli XCX and Whitney will be taking to the stage.

Good Vibes is Malaysia’s very own diverse, multi-genre festival that takes place in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Fuji Rock Festival
This year marks Fuji Rock Festival’s 23rd birthday and they plan to celebrate in style with this year’s headlining acts, The Chemical Brothers, The Cure and SIA. The last time The Cure came to Fuji Rock in 2013 they performed for three hours straight and this year they are also celebrating the band’s 40th anniversary, so we can only imagine how impressive this show will be! Summer Sonic
It’s Summer Sonic’s 20th anniversary so big celebrations are in order! Afropunk Festival
Afropunk began as a hundred-large gathering inspired by the 2003 documentary of the same name. But now it is an international festival with events all across the globe that seek to define culture by the collective creative actions of the individual and the group. This year’s deeply talented line-up spans hip-hop, electronic, jazz, soul and hardcore punk including names like Jill Scott, FKA Twigs, Leon Bridges, Kamasi, Gary Clark JR, Santigold, Lianne La Havas and Goldlink.

Electric Zoo: Evolved
Electric Zoo began on labour day weekend in 2009 and back then they had one mission and one mission only—bring electronic dance music to the forefront of New York City. Over a decade later and the festival is thriving with a reputation for bringing the latest electronic beats from a variety of sub-genres. This year the headliners include Marshmello (Friday), Martin Garrix (Saturday) and Tiësto (Sunday).
